Tune in to NASA TV on Wednesday, July 11, 2007, at 8:00 a.m. CDT, and join the Expedition 15 and STS-118 crews talking with educators and with high school and college students. During this education downlink, students will be asking the Expedition crew, commander Fyodor Yurchikhin and flight engineers Oleg Kotov and Clayton Anderson, what it is like to live and work in space. Members of the STS-118 crew, commander Scott Kelly and mission specialists Dave Williams and Barbara Morgan, will provide an overview of their mission objectives and also answer questions.

Ames Education Associates Project Accepting Applications

The Ames Education Associates Project is a unique experiential learning project that provides university students and faculty the opportunity to experience NASA. Selected applicants participate in and contribute to an effort at a NASA facility. Academic credit for the experience is available.
This project is open to students and faculty members at accredited U.S. colleges and universities, active K-12 educators, and postdoctoral students. Most positions are open to applicants with backgrounds in science, engineering and technology, but opportunities are also available for those with social science, business, communications, arts and humanities backgrounds.
