The 2011 Siemens We Can change the World Challenge encourages all students, from kindergarten through twelfth grade, to team up with their classmates to create replicable solutions to environmental issues in their schools (grades K–5), community (grades 6–8), and world (grades 9–12). The competition has been expanded this year to include participation opportunities for all students in grades K-12. Students and teachers work together to identify environmental concerns and envision solutions! The prizes for students, teachers, and schools are exciting and vary by grade level: from $5,000 grants for your school, $10,000 savings bonds for students, and $50,000 in student scholarships!
