Polar Science Weekend at Pacific Science Center – March 3-6, 2011 in Seattle

The 6th annual Polar Science Weekend (PSW) will be March 3-6, 2011, at Pacific Science Center in Seattle, Wash. PSW brings students, teachers, and families face-to-face with scientists who work in some of the most remote and challenging places on Earth, to learn first-hand about Arctic and Antarctic research in an informal setting. PSW consists of dozens of hands-on activities, live demonstrations, and exhibits about current polar research, presented by the researchers. PSW highlights NASA-funded work in polar regions, and is supported by a grant from NASA E/PO for Earth and Space Science (EPOESS).
