Space Adventures Partners with NASA, ESA, and JAXA to launch YouTube Space Lab Student YouTube Space Lab Space Competition

The YouTube Space Lab is a worldwide initiative, sponsored by Lenovo that challenges 14-18 year-old students to design a science experiment that can be performed in space. The two winning experiments will be conducted aboard the International Space Station (ISS) and live streamed on YouTube.

YouTube Space Lab Competition Summary

  • Open to students 14-18 years old
  • Teams up to 3 people
  • Closing date for submissions is December 7
  • Two minute video of idea submitted through YouTube

Prizes

  • Two winning experiments will be conducted aboard the International Space Station and live streamed on YouTube
  • Six regional finalists win a ZERO-G Experience
  • Two winning teams receive either a trip to see their experiment launch into space; or a one-of-a-kind astronaut training experience in Star City, Russia (once they turn 18)
